  We went on a Sunday afternoon. Our baby was very constipated and crying in a lot of pain and was bleeding from it. We were in from out of town and didn't have our insurance card on us, but told them what plan we had and they said that was fine and they could process it later so we could get our son seen. The doctor was extremely rude, treated us like we were stupid young parents, glanced in our babies diaper and said the blood was normal and there was nothing he could do about it and we should just give him water and take him home to wait it out, handed us a paper about constipation and then sent us on our way. The whole "exam" took less than two minutes. Later we received two bills from that visit, one was for our co-pay for visiting the urgent care facility (which insurance covered), and the other was over $500 for the two minute "exam" from this doctor who apparently did not accept our insurance. Expensive lesson to learn that yes, the facility can bill us separately from the doctors that they have working inside the facility, who do not have to accept the same insurance as the facility. Also blows my mind that we had to spend most of our savings for someone to hand us an information sheet that we could have printed off the Internet ourselves. I am not the type to make complaints, but I would never take my child to this facility again and I will think twice before ever visiting another urgent care.
